Is Flexible Dieting Really Flexible???

As bad as I really hate to say it & call it out.... if your "FLEXIBLE DIET APP" causes extreme anxiety when something life related gets thrown into the mix that'll affect your diet then DOESN'T THAT KIND OF DEFEAT THE PURPOSE? I know flexible dieting is all the rage and "everyone" loves IIFYM but if the program itself causes anxiety for people required to DO WHAT THE PHILOSOPHIES ARE BASED AROUND then how is that a good tool for long term success? When it comes to nutrition and fitness goals theres one thing thats guaranteed..... THIS SHIT TAKES LONG TERM SUSTAINED DISCIPLINE & COMPLIANCE. If you have to get out a damn chalk board with multiple food options tracking indirect macros to "MEET YOUR MACROS" at the end of the day then that isn't really going to be sustainable long term is it? God forbid you need to travel for an unexpected family emergency or funeral!

It amazes me how these "tools" made to prevent having to "be constrained to the rigidity" of a scheduled meal plan actually put people in a more rigid & non-flexible situation that is harder to sustain long term. A meal plan may seem rigid.... but actually its going to provide the highest level of freedom you can get when it comes to sustaining this progression long term. Simplify!!!
